Attend the event: “Treating the Whole Patient: Osteopathic Medicine & the Liberal Arts,” Thursday, October 22  at 4:00 PM in KC 2270, where CLAS Distinguished Alumna-in Residence, Michelle LeMieux, D.O., will share her experience.

Currently the Chief Resident in a Integrated Family Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (FP/NMM) Program, Michelle graduated from GVSU in 2009 with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a double major in Classics – concentrating on the Classical Tradition.

Now, she will discuss how these two different disciplines interact to inform her practice, as she approaches medicine in a holistic way, focusing on the whole body and working in partnership with her patients.
